Student U.S. Fulbright Program Information Meeting
Earn a master's degree, do research or teach English!
The Student U.S. Fulbright Program provides year-long grants for individually designed research projects, for a MA/MS degree, or for teaching of English as a foreign language throughout the world.
During their grants, Fulbrighters meet, work, live with and learn from the people of the host country, sharing daily experiences. The program facilitates cultural exchange through direct interaction on an individual basis in the classroom, field, home and in routine tasks, allowing grantees to gain an appreciation of others' viewpoints and beliefs, the way they do things and the way they think.
UMBC strongly encourages its academically strongest and most globally minded students to attend one of more than a dozen special information sessions throughout March and April to learn more about this internationally prestigious award. The application cycle for the 2016-17 academic year opens on March 30, 2015, and closes on October 13, 2015.
An RSVP is required to attend one of these meetings.
