Beta Kappa Chapter was founded at UMBC on July 17th, 1999. Beta Kappa Chapter is the first Latino Greek lettered organization to be founded and recognized at UMBC. Beta Kappa Chapter is the first chapter of any latin sorority to be established in the Baltimore area. Since the day that these remarkable women entered the sisterhood, they have worked hard to educate the UMBC campus about the Latino culture and about their organization.
Chocolate Caliente is a dance social where you can come learn or show off some latin dance moves. There will also be hot chocolate for all participants!
