All students must apply for housing annually. In order to be granted access to the application you must be a currently enrolled UMBC student and in good financial standing. Students with outstanding student account balances greater than $250 will not be granted access to the application. You should contact Student Business Services to find out how to clear your account balance. 

Undergraduate students with 39 or more completed credits are eligible to apply to Walker Avenue Apartments.  The Walker Avenue Application & Contract will open on March 2, 2026 at Noon and will close on March 6, 2026 or when 500 applications have been completed. If you are interested in learning more about the Walker Avenue Apartments process, please consider attending the virtual Room Selection Overview Info Session on February 23, 2026 at 12 p.m.

All undergraduate students are eligible to apply to Residential Life housing. The Residential Life Application & Contract will open on April 1, 2026 at 9 a.m. and will close on May 1, 2026 or when 1500 applications have been completed.
