The Lutheran-Episcopal Campus Ministry, in partnership with Retriever Essentials and the Mosaic Center, will be hosting a forum discussion tonight from 5:30pm-7p in the Skylight Lounge on "Respecting the Dignity of Every Human Being."
The panel will include:
- Bishop Eugene Sutton, Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland
- Dr. Nancy Young, Vice President of Student Life
- Carlos Turcios, Coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion
- Lauren Kataja, Retriever Essentials Program Coordinator
We're living through a time when respect seems to be disappearing. Come and hear religious and cultural perspectives on how we can and should cultivate respect for our neighbors, even when we may disagree with their views and their actions.
Respect is the cornerstone of justice. Let's work together to create a more inclusive UMBC community.
Hope to see you tonight at 5:30pm in the Skylight Lounge! Refreshments will be served.
**Suggested donation of $1 or 1 canned good to support Retriever Essentials**
