The UMBC Review is accepting submissions for Volume 27, which will be published in April 2026. The Review offers a rewarding opportunity to get your undergraduate research published in a peer-reviewed academic journal. Any research conducted at UMBC is valid for submission, including your summer research, senior thesis, or research lab findings!

The early bird deadline is Sunday, August 31st, 2025 and the deadline for all submissions is Sunday, September 14, 2025. This year, all published papers will be indexed using the SOAR repository, meaning they will receive a DOI number! Additionally, all papers, regardless of whether they will be accepted or not, will also be peer reviewed by an external researcher specializing in the field the paper is in.
