Please join the Baccalaureate Social Work Program and the Honors College in welcoming Delegate Griffith as she speaks about Advocacy in the Government as a Social Worker.
As a clinical social worker and State Delegate, Melony Griffith has gained experience with advocacy and social justice issues with her individual clients and now as a government representative with her communities.
Since SOWK 200/H: Social Is-sues—Social Action aims to em-power students as civic agents and encourage civic engagement in relation to the practice of Social Work, her talk should be appropriate and informative.
