Digital Storytelling Working Group Meeting
The Dresher Center Digital Storytelling faculty working group will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 24 in PAHB 216 (Dresher conference room)
We will discuss several things that are happening around digital story work at UMBC this year, including:
We are working with the University of Loughboro in the UK in organizing a series of international conferences in 2020/2021. DST2020 will be held in Loughboro Mar. 30 - Apr. 1. The Call for Proposals is now open through Oct. 15: http://dst2020.org. We would like to talk about possible proposals, UMBC’s participation and what this will involve. DST2021 will take place in the Baltimore/DC area in collaboration with the Smithsonian Center for Learning and Digital Access and Montgomery College.
Our stories.umbc.edu website has been completely redesigned. Please check it out and send me any content you would like to see included.
Finally, Felipe Filomeno and Tania Lizarazo are presenting their project Dialogue and Digital Storytelling for Intergroup Solidarity: Faith Communities and Immigration in Baltimore on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 · 4 PM . Information is here: https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/dreshercenter/events/71881
