Student Virtual Parking Permits are Now Available!
Dear Students,
You may now activate your virtual on-campus parking permit through the UMBC Parking Services Portal. We also recommend that you review your account for any outstanding fines and to verify your vehicle information is accurate prior to the start of the fall semester. Parking enforcement will begin on August 31; those who park on campus without a valid permit will be issued a citation.
Registering your vehicle is not the same as getting a permit. Once vehicles are registered, please click on the “Get Permit” button. Parking permits must be renewed every August prior to the start of the new academic year.
First-year residential students are eligible for an “F” permit and are required to park in the Satellite Lot on South Rolling Road during the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday – Friday. UMBC Transit will provide shuttle service to and from the Satellite Lot.
To learn more about parking at UMBC, please read our Virtual Permits FAQ. You can also view our Commuter Student Parking Guide to find the best parking locations for your class schedule or campus visit.
For questions or if you experience any issues, please contact us directly at parking@umbc.edu or at 410-455-2551.
