Catonsville native Pat Young is running for County Executive, and he has devoted his life to public service. First starting as a U.S. Marine Corps infantry veteran who completed two tours in Iraq. Pat returned home to earn three degrees at Towson University, where he founded the Student Veterans Group and became the university's first Director of Veterans Services. He served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 2015–2022, including as Deputy Majority Whip and Chair of the Joint Committee on the Management of Public Funds. Since December 2022, Pat has represented District 1 on the Baltimore County Council, focusing on veterans, equitable policy, stronger neighborhoods, and transparent, effective government.
