Holding Space: Quiet Space for Prayer and Reflection
Feeling overwhelmed or seeking space to process?
UMBC Campus Community: The Gathering Space for Spiritual Well-Being is here to support students, faculty, staff, and community members who are processing the devastating news coming out of the Middle East. We are holding each member of our community closely, especially people with who have friends, family, colleagues, and loved ones impacted by violence in the region.
Commons 331 will be open for silent prayer, reflection, and meditation on Wednesday, October 11th from 12:00pm-5:00pm. i3b Staff will be present to hold space for anyone who stops by. Community members are also invited to be in touch with the Counseling Services as part of Retriever Integrated Health or the Faculty Staff Assistance Program. Electric candles will be available to light as we grieve and look for light in our world.
