The Texts, Technologies, and Literature (TTL) Program is pleased to introduce the Small Grants Program. TTL Students currently enrolled in coursework may apply for up to $500 in research funds per academic year.
How can funds be used?
Grant funds may be used to support research endeavors including the following:
- Registration fees for a professional conference
- Travel funds for conference attendance or research trip (e.g., visiting archives; site-based workshops)
- Fees for archival documents or reproductions
- Honoraria for interview grantees or research participants
Who is eligible?
TTL students enrolled in TTL coursework who have not yet defended their final MA project. (Students enrolled in 7700 are not eligible for funding).
How can I apply?
Please prepare a 400-500 word proposal with the following information:
- Description of how the funds will be used, including a line item budget, if relevant
- Detailed description of how the funded activity or purchase will support your research
- A timeline for completion of the funded project and your expected outcomes.
What are the deadlines?
Applications will be considered twice per semester. The deadlines for this academic year are as follows:
- Fall 2024: November 15 and December 16
- Spring 2025: February 28 and April 4
