Dear TTL Students, 

Please consider nominating yourself for the Graduate Student Association Senate for the 2025-2026 academic year. There are currently few participating students from the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Your voice as a senator can truly shape the course of graduate education on campus. The role of Senator gives you an opportunity to represent your peers, participate in shared governance, determine how the Graduate Program Fee money is allocated, and receive a small stipend in return --you only need to allocate an average of 1-2 hours per week during each semester!

Second, participation in the campus climate survey among graduate students is currently quite low! This survey is anonymized and will have a very real impact on UMBC's future, especially in this crucial time of strategic planning on campus. Participants in the survey will be eligible for a drawing for one of 50 incentives.
