Graduate Student Support Group
Connecting While Apart
Friday, October 9, 2020 · 3 - 4:30 PM
Online
This therapy group is designed to provide a safe and confidential environment for graduate students to discuss the stress and challenges we are facing in grad school during the current global pandemic and sociopolitical environment. We will provide support for managing loneliness and social isolation, as well as other relational concerns and personal difficulties we may be experiencing. We hope that the group cultivates deep and meaningful conversations and contributes to our members’ emotional wellbeing.
Day and Time: Fridays, 3PM-4:30PM, starting on October 16 or later depending on recruitment
Facilitators: Soonhee Lee, Ph.D. (She/her/hers) & Rebecca Lambert, M.S. (She/her/hers)
If you are a UMBC graduate student in a master's or doctoral program, interested in this support group, and physically in Maryland at the time of groups, please contact Dr. Lee at soonhee@umbc.edu.
