A recent federal court ruling stated Maryland had violated its constitutional commitment by allowing traditionally White institutions of higher education to duplicate programs already offered by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU’s). Several panelists, including American Studies Assistant Professor Kimberly Moffitt, were on The Marc Steiner Show Thursday to discuss the ruling and its implications.
