Drawing Session Today! (Oct 23)

Hello.

You may have noticed that the myumbc post for today is a wee bit late. Apologies on behalf of the Cartoonist Club IT department.

For those of you who don't know, the myumbc posts are drafted, managed, and uploaded by our new generative artificial intelligence-driven software specifically designed to provide intuitive and quirky writings made to be read by a college-level audience.

This morning the system was hacked.

Now, now, now... These things happen all the time... There wasn't any important data that was taken, just a few thousand passwords and social security numbers... Yknow, the usual.

Since our $3 Billion data center is currently in flames (the hackers caused all devices to overheat to the point of combustion), IT will be personally making the following announcement:

Today, UMBC Cartoonists will be meeting in ILSB 302 from 1-5pm for drawing shenanigans, horseplay, hi-jinks and derring-do.

How was that? Not too bad for a systems engineer who spends all day behind a computer letting the work be done by AI anyways...
