CDE Registration is Open!
CDE 2026 will be held on Saturday, October 3rd in Public Policy Room 105 at UMBC.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided. This year's CDE is Among Us themed!
Description: CDE is a Red/Blue (attack/defend you are the defenders) Cyber Defense Exercise. It is open to all UMBC students and is a great opportunity to learn more about cyber security and cyber competitions. We strongly recommend participating so you can get a taste of the competition environment and see if you’d like to try out for the team.
This is a great event for beginners. No prior experience needed, please go to our How to Win CDE meeting on Sept. 28th

If you already have a 4-person team:
Only one person per team needs to fill out the sign-up form. Make sure to include all four team members on your form submission.
If you do not have a 4-person team yet:
You can still sign up as an individual. A team formation channel will be available on the CDE 2026 Discord where you can connect with others and build a team.
Important: Once you form a team through the CDE Discord, choose one team representative to update their sign-up form with the full roster. You do not need to notify us when you update, our system will automatically reflect the changes.
