One of the unique things about membership in a fraternity or sorority is that your commitment to a chapter doesn't end with your diploma.  Fraternity and sorority members are members for life. The larger national organization each chapter is a part of will keep members connected and involved long after graduation.  Brotherhood/sisterhood is not a temporary thing but a connection that lives on.
