The Retriever Music Society, UMBC Office of Health Promotion, and National Alliance on Mental Illness will be collaborating to host a mental health themed open mic night for the #IWillListen campaign, which aims to destigmatize mental illness by encouraging open, honest discussion about these topics. This is a great opportunity to hear from others and share your own voice through music, poetry, personal stories and experiences, or other forms of expression regarding mental health. And, if you're not up for stepping up to the microphone yourself, you should come to listen to the voices of your peers. Pizza and snacks will be served!
