The translation, communication, and conveyance of ideas, concepts, and methods behind their tangible manifestations is a central requirement for a successful career in a global network of artists, galleries, educational institutions and supporting venues. Based on specific examples the essential connection between research, execution, and interpretation will be discussed. To develop an individual creative voice one has to embrace the necessary conditions that contribute to the establishment of a solid artistic identity. In this presentation elements and procedures that facilitate progress on an international scale will be introduced and reviewed.
