Join us this Thursday, November 14, at the first-floor atrium of the Alvin O. Kuhn Library for the launch of The Yonder Cabinet, a collaborative art project and workshop series celebrating creativity, imagination, and the love of reading. This project repurposes library card catalogs as miniature museums, featuring dioramas by local, national, and international artists inspired by their favorite books and imaginary worlds.
Come explore these tiny masterpieces and learn about upcoming Spring workshops where you can train on digital fabrication tools in the new Alan and Wendy Wilson Innovation Lab and design and create your own book-inspired diorama!
