The UMBC New Media Studio is looking for interns. Two pathways are available in Sports Broadcasting and Studio Production. This is a great way to get experience.
The pathways are not rigid and students have the option to work in both fields. Both internships are unpaid and require 120 hours to complete. The expectation is interns work 10-20 hours a week, including some weekends. More information about the internship duties are listed below:
Sports Broadcasting
Work with the crew on ESPN broadcasts
Provide production support on americaeast.tv productions
Assist on field shoots for social platforms
Studio Production
Film and edit content for use on broadcast. digital, and social platforms
Assist on studio and field shoots
Work with production team to produce digital live streams
