commonvision is hiring Graphic Designers, Animators/Motion Designers and Office Assistants!
Graphic Designers
This position is open to Undergraduate UMBC students only. You do not have to be a visual arts major to apply to this position.
We’re looking for students who are comfortable working in:
Illustrator CC+
Photoshop CC+
InDesign CC+
Bonus Points If:
You have experience in pre- and post-production print, or any other kind of printing skills
You have interest or experience with animation/motion design
You can get super nerdy about typography
You have an interest or experience in photography
Your personality is along the lines of:
Self-motivated
Team-oriented
Attentive to details
Manages time and deadlines well
You love design too much
Non-negotiables:
Be highly dedicated & organized
Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must pass a judicial check
Must have at least 2 on-campus semesters left
Must be able to work at least 15 hours a week
Be an undergraduate student

After Effects CC+

You have experience with Maxon Cinema 4D
You have an interest in or have basic graphic design principles
You have an interest in or have experience in video/film
You have an interest or experience with sound editing
You have an interest or experience in photography
Your personality is along the lines of:
Self-motivated
Team-oriented
Attentive to details
Manages time and deadlines well
You really freaking love animation/motion design
Non-negotiables:
Must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Must pass a judicial check
Must have at least 2 on-campus semesters left
Must be able to work at least 15 hours a week
Be an undergraduate student
There is no required level of animation class you must have taken to be considered--just show us your work! This is an on-campus job that works with your class schedule.

Office Assistants
This position is open to Undergraduate UMBC students. You do not have to be a visual arts major to apply to this position! This position requires working the front desk, so you will be the face and voice of commonvision!!
Applicants Must:
Be highly dedicated & organized
Have at least 2 semesters left at UMBC
Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
Pass a judicial check
Be able to work at least 10 hours a week
Be an undergraduate student
We’re looking for students with:
An understanding of advertising via social media
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A great sense of organization and planning
A sense of humor
Ability to work without constant supervision
Bonus points if:
You have customer service experience
You have an interest in visual arts, design, and/or animation
You have an interest or are involved in student events
You have an interest or experience in photography
You make us laugh
Your personality is along the lines of:
Self-motivated
Team-oriented
Attentive to details
Manages time and deadlines well
