The hackUMBC team,a club dedicated to running UMBC's annual hackathon event every Fall semester, is actively recruiting for next year's (2025 - 2026) organizing team!
Following the incredible success of hackUMBC 2024, we’re excited to keep the momentum going for an even more ambitious hackUMBC 2025—and we’re on the lookout for talented, driven individuals to help us make it happen! This is your opportunity to join the dynamic hackUMBC team, committed to creating UMBC’s flagship hackathon from the ground up.
We have 4 main teams:
Tech Team - students who are in charge of maintaining the website, application, creating scripts, and supporting any other technical tasks
Sponsorship / Logistics Team - students who assist with fundraising money, creating a sponsorship packet and sending out to various companies to encourage sponsorship
Marketing Team - students who will work with other student organizations to collaborate for different events, promote events, send outreach emails
Design Team - students who will create various designs to update the logo with the following year’s theme, work alongside the other teams to design any assets needed
Interviews will begin on November 11th, so be sure to submit your application soon!
