This semester's student-led exhibition is now accepting submissions for student artwork!
"HUMANIZE" will take place in the new student gallery space in on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building between April 3rd - April 25th.
About "HUMANIZE"
The theme for this exhibition will be the idea of how art or creative expression can reflect, reclaim, or reinvent your own identity.
In environments where we feel pressure to perform, we might lose little bits ourselves in the process. Art, or creative expression provides sanctuary to "humanize" our identities.
We're looking to showcase the diverse array of artistic talent and expression that exists among students of all disciplines at UMBC. It's an opportunity to celebrate each other and our larger UMBC community through our "humanness."
Use this form to submit. Deadline to submit is March 31st.
All submissions will be reviewed by our team and contributors will be notified if their submission has been accepted.
Submission Guidelines:
- Must be a UMBC Student
- We're accepting all types of artwork in any form of media/medium. Be creative!
- Your work is encouraged to follow the theme, but don't let that deter you from submitting regardless. Your short answer responses will supplement your submission.
- Multiple submissions are welcome. However, we ask you to please use a separate form for each individual piece of work, or for different formats of work. An individual person can submit up to three (3) different pieces.
