The Center for Democracy and Civic Life’s Dinner with Friends program brings UMBC students, faculty, staff, and alumni together for engaging, facilitated small-group conversations about issues affecting our campus community. You will spend the evening enjoying good (free) food, learning about each other's experiences, and discussing how we can move forward together.
Join a facilitated small-group conversation about one of the following discussion topics (you choose):
This Dinner with Friends program is organized by the Center for Democracy and Civic Life in collaboration with the Graduate School, Graduate Student Association (GSA), Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion & Belonging (i3b), Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS), Office of Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS/SDS), Retriever Integrated Health (RIH), and the Student Government Association (SGA).
Join a facilitated small-group conversation about one of the following discussion topics (you choose):
- Finding community and belonging at UMBC
- Mental health at UMBC
- Religious and faith-based inclusion at UMBC
- Support for graduate students at UMBC
- Welcoming neurodiversity at UMBC
