Jasmine A. Lee, Ph.D., gave a keynote address at the March 2023 NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising regional conference, "All in on Students: Advising, Engaging, and Supporting Today's Students." The organization is the leading association globally for the advancement of student success through excellence in academic advising in higher education.
Lee framed her talk around principles of radical love and belonging, which connect back to the work of Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion & Belonging (i3b). In her talk, Lee encouraged advisors and student support staff to consider the full humanity of students and think of student success as a practice of love and the pursuit of justice.
Lee is director of inclusive excellence in the Division of Student Affairs and director of Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion, and Belonging (i3b).
