We would like to invite you to contribute your voice to very interesting research taking place at UMD. Dr. Alana Hackshaw is conducting research that explores the experience of Black communities in the US, the view on Black Lives Matter and Black women's activism. We would like to ask if you would share the following letter with your listserv as we want to invite eligible individuals who identify as Black/African American to participate in our project. Alternately, if you have individuals you would be willing to recommend, please let us know. Participants are invited to join a group discussion over Zoom and will be compensated $20 for their participation. The group discussion lasts approximately one hour.
