The Ahlul-Bayt Student Association at University of Maryland Baltimore County serves to unite the followers of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his household (AS) in order to:
- Spread the knowledge and teachings of the Thaqalayn (The Qur’an and the Household of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
- Provide students with social, religious, humanitarian/charity opportunities to serve the community on and off campus.
- Promote unity and dialogue among Muslims and other faiths through intra- and interfaith discussions to achieve peace, greater understanding, and dispel any myths and stereotypes particularly about Islam.
- Fulfill the spiritual, emotional, social, and academic needs of students.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
