Campus Accessibility: Facilities Projects and Discussion
FM Updates and Plans for Disability-Inclusive Facilities
Facilities Management and the Office of Accessibility and Disability Services are hosting a review of recent, current and potential construction projects that enhance accessibility, improve the physical environment of UMBC, and benefit the entire community while supporting accessibility for people with disabilities.
Learn about the progress being made (have you used the new elevators in Fine Arts and Sondheim?), current/planned projects, and share ideas to inform the proposal process for UMBC's participation with the AccessMD Program. Renovations that enhance accessibility beyond the scope of the program will be shared because the projects include accessibility as part of the design process.
Please RSVP below. We understand that this is a busy time and will reach out to registrants with an asynchronous option after the event.
Post Event Note: Thank you for everyone who attended - for those with scheduling conflicts, a recording of the presentation is linked here.
Questions about, and ideas for accessibility-enhancing projects may be submitted prior to the event via this link. |

Ideas for additional projects may arise at any time, and we would like to hear about them.
