In support of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, Accessibility & Disability Services and the Career Center will be hosting a student-centered event about navigating employment supports for students with a disability within hiring and employment processes. We will cover
This event may be of particular interest for those interested in federal employment, especially with Stephanie Taylor from UMBC's Career Center giving an overview of her role as UMBC's Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) Coordinator - Those expecting to graduate in the coming year that wish to participate should sign up for WRP -it's for ANY student with a disability - Details on WRP are here: https://my3.my.umbc.edu/groups/careers/posts/127433- It's open to recent graduates as well, but sign ups for this year end this week.
