DAPi De-Stress Fest
Hangout, craft, color, study (hybrid)
Friday, April 25, 2025 · 5 - 6 PM
Come de-stress with DAPi in this time before finals! You can study, do some coloring, make a craft, or simply hang out. Also, there will be handouts to take home that have study tips and campus resources. We hope to see you there :)
Join Delta Alpha Pi (DAPi) International Honor Society for students with disabilities at their De-Stress Fest April 25 noon-3:00 - it's open to any and all students with disabilities at UMBC - being registered with SDS is not required - and perhaps have fun and make friends in the process.
Reach out to DAPi's core group via UMBC's Discord community. If that's not your way to connect, or you need the link - undergrad and grad students with disabilities can email mthomps2@umbc.edu for DAPi information. Contact the eboard via embera1@umbc.edu or kbrown16@umbc.edu for more about the agenda and the fun - and the Discord link. Yes, transfer students and students new to their own disability identity are welcome!
ADS continues to connect interested students and encourage DAPi success. Send along questions about DAPi, expressions of interest and any access needs to mthomps2@umbc.edu.
Additional disability-related student groups include:
- UMBC NAMI (mental health)
- Sign of Life (ASL)
- Cancer Awareness Society
- College Diabetes Network - now being re-branded as Diabetes Link
- Disability Advocacy Union
