Wednesday, November 18, 2020 · 12 - 1 PM
At the open house we covered how Delta Alpha Pi (DAPi) International Honor Society embodies
LEADERSHIP
ADVOCACY
EDUCATION
And we are establishing our next meetings. Because of the negative stereotyping associated with disability,
students have been reluctant to identify themselves publicly. DAPi
presents an opportunity to change that perception by recognizing
students with disabilities for their academic accomplishments. In
addition, this Honor Society facilitates the development of skills in
leadership, advocacy, and education for participating students. Learn more during this interactive meeting with Cassie Kilroy Thompson, DAPi Advisor of UMBC's Gamma Kappa Chapter. We would like to establish a regular time for students to meet. RSVP below, by email, or click here to join,. We continue to connect interested students and set up routine meetings times. Leadership opportunities are available for those interested in serving as an officer. Send along questions about DAPi, expressions of interest and any access needs to mthomps2@umbc.edu.
