The UN system tools will be addressed, including those developed for the UN Disability Inclusion Strategy, the United Nations Partnership on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, UN Women and the World Bank. It will also focus on important steps taken by civil society and the private sector to “build back better” in a disability-inclusive manner, supporting a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 World”.
This event is organized by the United Nations Executive Office of Secretary-General (EOSG), UNDESA, UN Women, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador, the Permanent Missions of Philippines and Tanzania and co-sponsored by UNPRPD/UNDP, the World Bank, the Permanent Missions of Mexico and New Zealand and the Asia Pacific Forum on Women and Girls with Disabilities (Civil Society).
