"alpha Kappa Delta Phi (αΚΔΦ) (also known as aKDPhi) is the largest Asian American interest sorority founded at the University of California, Berkeley on February 7, 1990. It is the one and only International Asian Interest sorority with a total of 60 chapters."

UMBC's aKDPhi was founded in the fall of 2005 and was officially recognized on campus in the fall of 2011.
