The department of Ancient Studies is pleased to announce that it has bought 15 tickets to the performance of Ellen's McLaughlin's adaptation of Aeschylus' Oresteia on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 8:00 pm at the Harman Center for the Arts, located at 610 F St. NW, Washington D.C., 20004.
The performance lasts 2:20. In addition, there will be a 15-minute intermission. If the production keeps to its schedule, it will end at 10:35 pm. This limits our options for public transportation. However, it will be possible to take the Metro from the Greenbelt station to the Gallery Place-Chinatown station, which is a 5-minute walk from the theater. The department is also exploring possibilities for round-trip transportation from the campus to the theater.
Tickets will be distributed to majors, faculty, and minors (in that order of preference). If tickets remain, they will be offered to the University community. The cost of a ticket is $10.00. If you are interested in going, please register your commitment to attend the performance with Prof. Rosenbloom (email@example.com).
