Convocation

The 2025 Convocation ceremony will be held Tuesday, August 26 at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. We look forward to welcoming our incoming students and introducing them to UMBC’s traditions.

First year, transfer and graduate students will receive communications from Student Affairs.

Faculty and staff can register to process here or volunteer as event staff here.
