Additional Floating Holiday Added

Dear Colleagues,

Due to the additional federal holiday created on December 26 of last year, employees have one extra floating holiday to use between now and December 31, 2026. This will be added to your timesheet holiday balance by March 20, 2026. Please work with your supervisor to choose a date, and select holiday with a (HOL) notation on your timesheet when using.

If you have any questions, please contact our HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) team at HRIS@umbc.edu or 410-455-2337.

Sincerely,
