Dear UMBC Community, 

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra delivered a brilliant performance in the Linehan Concert Hall last week. Led by Jonathon Heyward, the BSO’s super-talented, kind, and humble music director, the concert kicked off UMBC’s Arts+ initiative in spectacular fashion, bringing the very best of the arts in Baltimore onto our campus for our students and our entire community to experience firsthand. 

It was a gift—lifting spirits and connecting us all through joyful creative expression—and a true testament to the transformative power of the arts.
