IT & Cyber Entrepreneurs

11 AM-2 PM
University Center 312
The University of Maryland, Baltimore County has been recognized again as a national leader in innovation and undergraduate teaching by U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges guide. For five years in a row, UMBC has topped the U.S. News ranking of “Up-and-Coming” national universities – a designation recognizing institutions that consistently find innovative ways to improve students’ educational experiences. Catch the wave by visiting our campus and participating in our networking event for the IT and cyber industry.
This event format has been designed to give organizations the chance to network with UMBC students and alumni that have chosen to pursue careers in various IT fields. This occasion offers you an excellent opportunity to speak directly with targeted students about career opportunities within your organization.
The panel discussion will provide a platform for successful entrepreneurs to candidly share their experiences and insights with UMBC students including lessons learned and unique issues and challenges faced by technology entrepreneurs focusing on cyber security in the creation of a new enterprise.
As we want to maximize opportunities for students and industry professionals to network, the registration for this program is FREE!
If you have any questions or require additional information, please call Sue Plitt, 410-455-2340 (in the Career Center) or Jennifer Reynolds, 443-543-5478 (bwtech@UMBC). We hope to see you on Oct. 15.
Only Equal Employment Opportunity Employers may participate.
