Spectrum of Process — Babayin Writing Workshop
At the Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture
In conjunction with the exhibition Spectrum of Process, on display from February 9 through March 2, the Center for Art, Design and Visual Culture presents assistant professor of graphic design Julie Sayo, who will offer a Babayin Writing Workshop.
A Filipino-American graphic designer and educator, Sayo’s studio practice explores identity and the role of graphic design in decoloniality through the study and type design of Baybayin, a Tagalog writing system of the Philippines.
Brown bag lunches will be provided.
