The Department of Music presents the UMBC Symphony Orchestra under the direction of E. Michael Richards.

The program features music from Greece, Azerbaijan, Russia, and France, including premieres of works by Sofia Kamayianni and Rahilia Hasanova:

Kamayianni – Dance (2005)
Hasanova – The Solitary Voice (2008)
Ravel – Bolero (1928)
Tchaikovsky – Symphony No. 5 (1885)
