Welcome Dr. Charles Ichoku, who joined our GES faculty this semester as a professor and as the new director of the UMBC-led Goddard Earth Science Technology and Research (GESTAR) Center II!
Dr. Ichoku joins us from Howard University and has a distinguished teaching and research career in the earth and environmental sciences, including previously serving as the Distinguished Scientist of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Cooperative Science Center in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology (NCAS-M).
