Dear Members of the Ancient Studies Community,

UMBC is in the process of re-envisioning the General Education Program (GEP). Part of this process is hearing from students, and I strongly urge Ancient Studies majors and minors to their voice heard. The survey ends on Oct. 29, 2026.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. It is already in your inbox. Search for Manfred H.M. van Dulmen (UMBC's Provost) and look for the subject line "Help us shape the future of the General Education Program!"

Once you complete the survey, you will have the opportunity to enter a drawing to win one of these prizes:

- Lunch with Provost van Dulmen on campus on Wednesday, December 2, 2026 (5 winners)
- UMBC blanket (5 winners)
- UMBC swag bag with a water bottle, t-shirt, and drawstring bag (5 winners)
- UMBC swag bag with a knit winter hat, sweatshirt, and drawstring bag (5 winners)
- UMBC swag bag with a water bottle and t-shirt (5 winners)
