Research and Creative Achievement Consultation Workshop for CAHSS Faculty

This workshop is open to all CAHSS faculty at all career stages, including those who are new to research and creative achievement at UMBC.
Participants will learn about the how CARAT collaborates with faculty in the development stage of research and creative achievement, what to expect in a consultation session, and how those early conversations can lay the groundwork for external funding proposals.
There will be time for Q&A. Participants are invited to submit questions in advance on the registration form.

- CAHSS and UMBC resources for research and creative achievement development
- When to request a consultation
- Planning for internal and extramural funding proposals
- UMBC's PI Eligibility process
- Strategies for funding proposals - What makes a proposal competitive?
- UMBC’s routing process (short overview)
