Internal deadline to apply is December 3, 2018. Students must send their transcript, research proposal, and personal statement to me as words docs by this date in order to be considered for nomination.
The Goldwater Scholarship is granted to college students who intend to pursue careers in the following fields: science, mathematics, and engineering. The applicants are evaluated based upon their field of study, career objectives, and the potential and dedication for the applicant to make a significant contribution to their field. Up to 300 awards of $7,500 to college sophomores and juniors who are pursuing research careers in STEM are awarded annually.
