Full list of confirmed CMI courses by semester. Includes if it's a Base or Extension, Course information, instructor, included materials, costs and billing type.
Established in 2016, the Course Material Initiative (more commonly referred to as "CMI) has grown to include over 200 courses, 300 sections, 240 instructors and 8k students (over half of UMBC FT enrollment!). The goal of this page is to keep the UMBC community informed on all aspects of this program by sharing important updates, creating events, posting deadline reminders and more.
CMI provides digital course materials (eTextbooks and/or courseware) through Blackboard integration and billed directly to the student account.
More information about CMI can be found at bookstore.umbc.edu/cmi. Feel free to also contact the CMI coordinator, Jocelyn Ochoa-Garcia (ochoa1@umbc.edu), with any questions.
All events, groups, organizations, and centers are open for full participation by all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other protected category under applicable federal law, state law, and the University's nondiscrimination policy.
