Welcome CNMS Dean's Office New Hire!

Welcome to Yvonne Contreras as the new CNMS Pre-Award Specialist!

Yvonne holds an M.A. in English-Rhetoric, Professional Communication, and Composition (RPC) and B.A. in English from New Mexico State University.

Yvonne joins UMBC from the City of El Paso and University of Texas Health Science Center where she worked on grant proposal submissions, budget creation, and financial reports.    As Pre-Award Specialist in the CNMS Shared Service Center, Yvonne will provide support to Physics, Chemistry & Biochemistry, and Quantum Science Institute.
