Today's "How to Get an A" Workshop is CANCELLED
View the attached presentation and catch us next week!
CNMS Advising, regretfully, has to cancel today's "How to Get an A" workshop from 12-1PM in The Learning Collaboratory -- TLC -- (UC 115).
Our main focus for today's session was focusing on knowing where you stand in your classes, getting a clear understanding of what your professor expects, and implementing the changes or improvements needed to earn that elusive "A."
With midterms and second exams upon us, take some time to review today's scheduled presentation and be sure to take some time to calculate your grade standing, talk with your professor and/or advisors, and step up your study habits. You are not the same student you were a few months ago -- you have experiences to build upon!
We often like to encourage students around mid-semester to try to implement ONE change to their study habits starting today and stick with it. What will yours be!?!?! Consider trying the attached habit tracker to help you stay on track and take a look at some of the habit hacks to help ease you into it.
Join CNMS Advising next week (10/21) from 12-1 in TLC/UC 115 for "Pretzels with a Prof. -- Salty Snacks, Serious Scholarship w/Dr. Jeff Leips." We can't wait for you to talk with Dr. Leips about his research, STEM study tips, and how to get involved in a lab on campus! See you there!
