Q: Do you have any UMBC stories, little-known facts about UMBC, favorite spots on campus, or anything else you’d like to share?
A: I enjoy the events at Welcome Week a lot. Even though I'm a Junior, I go to most of the events every year. That's where I met most of my best friends during my freshmen and sophomore years. So Welcome Week brings back good memories for me. I enjoy Big Crazy Fun Night, the RESPECT talk by Maura Cullen, and Convocation the most! I absolutely loved Commuter Retreat when I was a commuter freshmen year and highly recommend it. Welcome Week is a great way to meet new people and start the school year on a good note.
