[2/22/2010] -- CYBER MARYLAND: A Report from the Maryland Department of Business & Economic Development identifies UMBC as a leader among colleges and universities in Maryland delivering both Bachelor’s and Graduate degrees combined in Computer and/or Information Science degrees.

CYBER MARYLAND also highlights UMBC as one of 4 “Cyber Security Research Leaders in Academia,” and that UMBC has the highest percentage of students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) fields in the state of Maryland, only behind the US Navel Academy.
